Web Design
What's your story?
Allsorts Design uses the following measures to ensure that your website
content communicates your message to the widest possible audience:
- through a combination of intelligent site design and manual submission,
your website will be optimised for search engines, ensuring that your
site, at the very least, makes it into the top 10 results across the
three major search engines: Google, Yahoo & MSN
- code is validated
for compliancy with the latest web standards and optimised for reliable
cross-browser performance. It will be thoroughly tested across multiple
browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.) on PC’s and the Mac
- all
websites are designed according to best practice for accessibility,
removing any obstacles for those users constrained by disability or
adverse operating environments
- additional
online marketing assistance is available on request
What's your style?
Whether I’m complementing your existing
branding or helping you with a new visual identity, I am passionate about
creating highly customised websites that express your unique
personality and style.
Intelligent design
A website designed by Allsorts Design will look and perform like
a professional website.
Many websites draw too much attention to themselves, rather than to your
product or service. This can be due to:
- poor visual design through, for example, over-use of graphics, over-use
of animation or inappropriate use of colour
- poor functional design, where the client has been over-sold on unnecessary
and unwieldy special features
- both of the above (ouch!)
The best websites strike
a healthy marriage of form (“look and feel”) and function (E.g. interactive
website tools, sensible navigation, and usability).
I create visually harmonious, professional looking websites that are quick
to load and easy to navigate.
Living document
Allsorts Design websites are scalable, flexible designs allowing for easy
addition of new features as your business
evolves. Think of your website as a "living document". If you think you
may like certain features on your site but don’t want to invest just yet,
they can always be added later.
